Post Natal Pilates

Congratulations, your baby has arrived earth side!

**As with any exercise information, this is general in nature and your treating medical professional should be consulted before starting and/or continuing any exercise program/routine during post pregnancy.**

 

As soon as your doctor gives you clearance to return to exercise, Pilates is a great starting place!  We also suggest a visit to a Women's Health Physiotherapist to ensure your Pelvic Floor is activating correctly and you are healing as expected.  It is easy to be eager to begin your post pregnancy exercise journey, but at Restore Pilates with Kelsey, we believe in listening to your body and ensuring your deep core muscles are activating correctly.  Our qualified instructor will prescribe specific exercises to help strengthen these muscles and help you progress your Pilates exercises.  Our instructors will ask you questions about how your pregnancy and birth experience to ensure the program they create is tailored to suit your needs.
